Yes, that’s true! I had always liked movies, but reading box office reports on Flipboard was how I first learned about directors like Greta Gerwig and the Coen Brothers. I was eleven, so I had only really been exposed to franchise filmmaking and kids’ animation.
Flipboard was my gateway into the larger world of American filmmaking; without it, I may not have followed the path that led me to working with Elena! Definitely a bit of a full-circle moment for me :)
