@itsfoss CachyOS, I like the defaults with fish etc, but I actually like my Fedora :)
@itsfoss Nvidia and it already caused multiple problems... Would have gone with AMD if I didn't need to use DaVinci Resolve which supports basically no codecs on AMD / Linux :(
@[email protected] @megabyteghost @itsfoss yes the modulation system, audio editing and the grid (a kind of modular synth / graphical programming language in Bitwig) is really great. Some professional producers switching to it and I haven't heard any regrets :)
Definitely the best DAW on Linux for most people, as long as you are not a Reaper freak :D
@heartcode_dev @itsfoss I switched to Bitwig because I wanted to stay on Linux and I love it :)
@[email protected] @megabyteghost @itsfoss Bitwig Studio? I switched from Ableton to Bitwig and after some getting used to I even prefer it over Ableton :)
@itsfoss I'm more the hammering f1,f2,f10,f12 kind of guy ๐Ÿ˜† now i just stick to framework where I know it's f2.
@dpdmancul @itsfoss wow you are a magician โœจ๐Ÿ˜† how did I not know this

After first announcing rewriting Bottles with a Stack out of Python, Go and Electron over a year ago, they are now switching to Rust for all of those three!

@itsfoss good tip, I am using Standard Note but some things are annoying me, so I am happy to try out Notesnook!
@itsfoss I switched to Linux since I work in an AI company, because the tools we needed where harder to use on any other system. Also all our trainings run solely on Linux.
