I’m going to bundle my #ClimateDiary a bit together. I’ve been traveling different geographies in Scandinavia: eastern Denmark and the west coast of Norway. In Denmark first signs of spring has appeared eg. snowdrops. The temperature has been warm and sunny too. I arrived in Norway yesterday and it was definitely more cold and windy here. This morning (picture) the frost was visible and temp around -2 c. Bits of rain from last night was visible, making the bike ride a bit “interesting”
Encouraged to share this by @andersriel. Thank you! The article is a curious one. Danish celebrated “green energy” company, Vestas, have once again unlawfully and unjust stolen indigenous land in Norway for their windmills. It is a move that encapsulate how green growth regimes are a sham embedded in deeply unjust structures that perpetuate colonial assumptions on access to land.
