Inspired by my great artist friend’s poem, I drew this imagery that came to mind as I was reading its lines. A deep forest, secure in its vastness. Perhaps a moment for some hot cocoa wouldn’t hurt.

As a delicacy, in my country we tend to eat caviar on New Year’s! As I don’t like red caviar, we made use of the black one we had been gifted. I hope that in the upcoming year, we spread more love and companionship to those around us, acknowledging each other’s struggles and worries. I hope that our resolutions include others and that this year we become a more joint society, and show understanding to those who aren’t us. Happy New Year!
