Another mystical sphere, another telescope visit! 🥰This November, the journey goes to Sweden, together with researcher Nikki Arendse, to explore around five telescopes. Highlights include the radio telescope in Onsala and the AlbaNova telescope in Stockholm. The focus will be on learning more about geodetic research (a follow-up from Finland!) and uncovering the history of the telescopes in Kvistaberg and Saltsjöbaden. I’m currently reaching out to research facilities to finalize my plans, fingers crossed! Creating a trip like this takes about 6–8 months: reaching out, getting acquainted, building a travel schedule, and inviting scientists to share a bit of their time. My absolute ultimate dream? Visiting ICECUBE, the Neutrino Observatory research center at the South Pole. One can dream, yeah?Oh, and a dreamer I am! 👀 In the meantime, some other incredible locations are coming closer and closer within reach, thanks to wonderful people and shared enthusiasm.
