My iMac G4 is freezing up and needs power cycling when that happens, not sure what’s wrong as TechTool passed without an issue. 😢

Wall detection isn't working properly, but the camera plane seems correct at least. The rays are forming a nice triangle with a flat edge perpendicular to the direction the player is facing. This should mean no fisheye distortion once the wall detection is fixed.

Decided to start over with the raycaster so I could do everything as proper vectors with a camera plane, following Lodev’s tutorials. Still have some glitches to work out.

Much better using radians, mostly fixes the fisheye effect, except for the outer edges which are still slightly curved. Not quite sure why, as that doesn't fit my mental model of what is happening 😂 More work to be done!

Ok, so if you use degrees instead of radians in your trigonometry calculation, you accidentally build the iTunes visualiser? 😅
