Apple Pencil Pro's squeeze menu doesn't work well left handed. The hit-box doesn't include half of the color or kebob buttons, so those just close the menu. Was hoping to find a solution, just found more reports...

Apple Pencil Pro : Squeeze "Tool Palette"… - Apple Community

Hiya! I'm a programmer looking for full-time work in the SF Bay Area (or remote!)
I'm primarily a Python dev, but I've got significant experience in Java, C#, C++/C, Ruby, and JS.

I've focused a lot on Continuous Integration in recent years but I've got experience with in-house tool development, embedded software, back-end server stuff, and UI/Web/HIL test automation.
I've a lot of experience in digitization/archival work.

I think MS are a way off extracting themselves from Recall situation they've got themselves into.

This is just one YouTube comments section on a video since the not-enabled-by-default change - 500k views - but there's loads more, similar on TikTok.

I imagine it's going to continue through week and into next week when the laptops ship.

I have heard rumblings MS are discussing trying to take action against me over the whole thing, which a) good luck and b) would be pouring petrol on the flames.

@jerry I had mine done back in 2018ish and felt like a was fleeced at $5500. That includes the compressor and condenser and installation. Don’t remember the capacity, but it was a big one for a large house.

Ok, so the company I work for, PDQ.com, is hiring for an app sec engineer! I’m sharing the link to the posting here because I think the mastodon community here is likely a great place to find a great coworker. Come work with me!

US Senator Bernie Sanders has said that he will introduce an amendment to a foreign aid supplemental package that would cut $10.1bn in offensive weaponry funding for Israel.

The U.S. must end its complicity in the nightmare unfolding in Gaza. That is why I will be offering an amendment to the supplemental bill to ensure zero funding for the continuation of Netanyahu’s illegal, immoral war against the Palestinian people.

@flameeyes consumers don’t really care about ipv4 or nat either. They don’t care about ipv6 because we don’t have a p2p capable internet and haven’t for many their whole lives. Technologists just can’t even build some types of apps right now under ipv4,so nobody can miss a feature that there aren’t apps for.
@jhwgh1968 @engarneering @fasterthanlime ah, yes, that makes sense. But with CG NAT on ipv4, for example, you can’t just forward some ports at the router. This is because instead of loaning you a /32, they are sharing that /32 with maybe hundreds of other customers, so there is no way to know which router should be forwarded the port.
@jhwgh1968 @engarneering @fasterthanlime even a /128 could let you do some port forwarding because you still have access to all the ports. It’s still pretty bad, but most networks have at least a rudimentary firewall that may block random inbound traffic even if you got a /56
