@RikerGoogling Hand to butt, or butt to butt?
@coffeendrawing I tried it and it's atrociously bad. I showed the images to my wife and she said aloud "I hate this."

There is a confusing paradigm that's been adopted by clothing brands, though maybe it makes sense once I describe it.

Affordable fashion brands have more efficient websites, while more expensive brands do their best to push you away. The "aura" of exclusivity bleeds into the website, resulting in difficult-to-browse catalogs. They punish user interest.

It's confusing (why wouldn't they want my money?) but also makes sense, in a way.

@nathansmith @andy What troubles me at the moment is that so many of the designers and creative folks I like following have not yet *visibly* made the jump to Mastodon. The attraction of a decentralized service is more apparent amongst tech enthusiasts, but the creative class appears to largely be confused by it. I personally straddle the line between creative and tech, which puts me in a tough spot.

@coffeendrawing You: Okay I have seized the means of production, now what, Bop it?!

Bop it: ...

Burn it all down.

I'll be on a podcast next week discussing design process and the "Design Odyssey Framework" bananas I wrote about. It won't come out until 2023, right around the time of my TEDx Salon talk. Good timing!
@kemayo Definitely different crowds but I also suspect I should do further culling of who I follow.
@kemayo It is quite good, but the downside is only 13 of the people I follow are (apparently) on Mastodon.
@peterme How's that?
