Hello my name is Adam and I love emacs and the emacs community. I use emacs for time tracking at work and for home. I hope you find this community helpful.

Hi everyone. I will be closing down this mastodon instance soon. I cannot afford it anymore. It’s been fun and I hope to see you in other instances. #emacs
To piggy back off my post last night. I think having a tilde server for our community would be valuable. Having one place to both chat and blog about our favorite piece of software would be good. Also there is a feature I’m wanting to include that would help new comers to emacs. It would allow new users that need help to call on more seasoned emacs users by session sharing. Anyways I have a lot of good ideas and I just want to make our community better. 😊 #emacs
I got a example site that I am making that could be used for the community. It's here gemini://cub.run/ #emacs You can use elpher inside of emacs to access this page.

For those wondering what the heck a tilde server is. lol

Hello community! It's been awhile since there has been activity here. I wanted to run something by ya'll. I am wanting to change this community and make it better. I was thinking about starting a tilde server for us using the emacs.social domain. I think this would allow us to have more space to write and to interact with each other more. What do ya'll think? #emacs
Home is where your #emacs minibuffer is.

Made a tool that lets you write plain Org Mode file and serve them as HTML without any explicit export step

This is basically a port of the Markdeep (https://casual-effects.com/markdeep/) idea for Org Mode.

I tried doing what this article said to do but everytime I click on "Join Station" it just times out.

Working with Elpher - Sporiff.dev

I like Emacs quite a lot. There's something about the "everything app" (the real one, Elon) that can be quite liberating. However, Emacs has quit

Hey guys has anybody had any luck with using elpher and client side certificates with the station? #emacs #elpher
