Cleaning up the epub metadata in Calibre for those books and this came as a bit of a surprise:
Hats off to whoever decided on using this picture with this headline.
We walked down to the big bayou this morning. It's also pretty dry, but it's full of egrets.
Looks like we might have a problem tonight.
Here we gooooooooo
Two pictures, taken a year apart. Last year we had a week of rain in August and the bayou was FULL. This year we're in a drought and it's as low as I've seen it in 15 years.

Back in the mists of time I worked on Interlisp, a variant of the Lisp programming language. A friend gifted me a couple of cats to rescue, they were manx's that had been abandoned by their mother because one was the runt of the litter and the other had a tail. Of course I named them CAR and CDR, which are the operations in Lisp to get the head of a list and the tail of a list.
We've been reviving Interlisp for modern times (www.interlisp.org, if you're interested), and I've been digging up pictures of those times to share with the group. Here's a picture of them looking up their names in the manual.
