New ThinkPad arrived! 2.8K IPS! Matte! Exclamation marks! YAY
This is my first βnewβ ThinkPad ever, Iβve always had second hand machines. Also marks the end of my personal Mac era, having first got an iMac DV in 1999, and a bunch of iBooks and MacBooks since.
Next step is to wipe the unserious OS off it and put FreeBSD and Fedora on it.

Was reminiscing with a client about our first network kit. This was mine: a D-Link DE-805TP 10BaseT hub.
Until that point as a kid my sister and I had been using a crossover cable to play Age of Empires II. This little box let us play with friends. Wish I still had it :').
