@hacks4pancakes I look to the Ham Radio community as a cautionary tale of a group of aging enthusiasts not being particularly welcoming to the next generation.
That said, I believe the trend toward professionalism in cyber security (as opposed to the rock star hacker vibe) is a good thing, and provides more avenues for meaningful inclusion.
You are 100% correct - we need to be deliberate and intentional in welcoming the next generation.

Random first post: I think the Steam Deck is probably the most excited I've been about a piece of technology in years. Playing games on my PC always feels like such a commitment so I rarely do it. On the deck I can pick up and play for five minutes while I wait for the oven to preheat and not feel like I'm missing out on anything.
