Anyone else read this article and just think about how much more complicated this is going to make date time programming libraries?

Spent my Sunday morning replacing the pump on my #espresso machine. Now contemplating how hard it would be to wire into #homeassistant to make it “smart”.
@hacks4pancakes I look to the Ham Radio community as a cautionary tale of a group of aging enthusiasts not being particularly welcoming to the next generation.
That said, I believe the trend toward professionalism in cyber security (as opposed to the rock star hacker vibe) is a good thing, and provides more avenues for meaningful inclusion.

This weekends #homeautomation project. Got one of my spigots automated along with our two Bali #zwave blinds. Next up, the rest of the spigots and the whole home water shutoff. #homeassistant

Finally made the time to go out to Confluence Point Park to get some pics of the Missouri and Mississippi coming together. There’s definitely a visible line, but I’m not experienced enough at handling raw files to bring it out the way I’d like. #photos #stl #dronephotography

Random first post: I think the Steam Deck is probably the most excited I've been about a piece of technology in years. Playing games on my PC always feels like such a commitment so I rarely do it. On the deck I can pick up and play for five minutes while I wait for the oven to preheat and not feel like I'm missing out on anything.
