The terrible events of the last 48 hours have made it clear how important social media is during fast-moving historical events.
Sadly, the destruction of the teams Twitter put in place to fight organized manipulation makes it harder for individuals to speak to a global audience as their message gets buried by troll farms, state propaganda organs and grifters.

According to my data, these stalkerware networks were hacked or exposed in the past 12 months alone:

And these have shuttered, or been shut down:

In the UK you can report these messages by forwarding them to 7762 (SPAM).
All the mobile operators share the intelligence with each other.
It helps them to shutdown scams like this and stop them harming other people.
Surprise news this morning: I’m a mother!
It took my long-lost, unknown child’s phone getting smashed for them to finally reach out, but finally I can message them on WhatsApp and their new number. #Blessed
