VLC doesn’t surprise me, dude rants all the time about how great vibe coding is.
Librewolf doesn’t surprise me.
Kitty 100% does NOT surprise me. The dev is an absolute tool who thinks his shit don’t stink but the guy has no clue what he’s doing at that end of the day. he rags on multiplexers or the simple act of copying via keyboard multiple lines in the terminal cause he DOESN’T know how to do it so therefore those things are “garbage”. of course he uses copilot, when it comes to AI he doesn’t even know of a “good” one to use. Don’t use Kitty, it’s slop from end to end. For example launch tmux in Kitty and then try to change your “kitten theme”…I’ll wait.
IF you like warhammer 40k or want to get into the lore (it’s god damn insanely deep and interesting) there are a few VERY good videos that are multiple hours long that pretty much come out on a weekly basis. https://www.youtube.com/@Luetin09 is my favourite. if I have nothing to do one a weekend afternoon i’ll just put his vids on while I do some dev work or play around with my pc configs. each video is easily 2+ hours. and it’s just lore.
I don’t even know how to play WH40k, I don’t own any of the minitures, but damn do I know all the lore because of his vids.

Welcome to my Channel. I've been immersed in Warhammer 40,000 for some 30 years now, my primary goal is to share that deep love of the lore and hobby with as many people as possible, and help give some distraction from the stresses we all face. Here we will dive deep into the lore, and hopefully scratch out some meanings and understanding within the rich deep verse that is 40K. I also sometimes look into adjacent topics - history - apocalypse and fantasy sci-fi.
imho in a weird way cassettes were better/more fun. Like wanting to record a song you like so you’d sit in front of the tape deck for hours on end listening to the radio waiting for that ONE song to come on so you could record it. It would take you hours, maybe even days, to make that mixtape of songs you didn’t own.
Also when I was a kid I had one of those fisher price tape decks that had the microphone attached to it. I wanted to make a mix tape of all my favourite songs from my NES games or games that I would rent (like the Battletoads theme song, or the music from the Batman videogame) so I would pop the game in then hold the microphone up to the TV speaker and record the songs.
well considering that in 2017 there was a study that revealed it cost on average $56k per year per homeless individual: https://ontario.cmha.ca/news/new-study-highlights-cost-of-homelessness/ and that’s just medical, and shelter use. homelesshub.ca reported that in 2013 it was more, 75k a year per homeless individual, and again that’s without providing housing.
so 115k in the long run will potentially save money. A person who has private and reliable shelter is more likely to start to contribute to society again, get a job, pay taxes, etc.
The solution has always been a homes first initiative with needs based assistance.
