I have a diverse range of interests. From delving into the latest tech trends and iOS innovations to immersing myself in captivating books and engaging in stimulating conversations. I love meeting new people and reconnecting with old friends, whether through the world of gaming or the magic of music. Eager to expand my network and share these interests with others! #accessibility #tech #gaming #reading #social #Apple #iOS
I'd like to know what people think of Bitwarden on all platforms? I'm currently using the Apple Passwords app, but I'm considering Bitwarden. I've heard a lot of good things about it. I'd like to have something that works on Windows as well as iOS. So any experiences would be appreciated. Is there any way to import my passwords from the Passwords app?
@J3317 It allows you to open apps, it gives you access to live captions, you can open .brf files, and take Braille notes. There might be a couple of other things, but that's what immediately comes to mind.
@cublanco No you can't. You have to have a Braille display in order for it to work.
Using the Mantis, I can get most aspects of Braille Access mode to work. I just can’t get Braille notes to save. Somehow, I got it to work before I restarted the phone, but it won’t work no matter what I do.
@Pawpower This is using the new Braille access mode on an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
@DerryLawlor Chord S is not working for me now on the Mantis. Ever since I restarted my phone, I can't get Chord S to work. It's working with the Focus still, but not the Mantis. I'm still trying to work out where notes are saved.
@DerryLawlor Chord S will save your notes. They are just numbered notes. I haven't tried to rename them.
@LeonianUniverse @dhamlinmusic I have not experienced this yet. I'm using a Mantis on an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Braille access is working very well with the Mantis. I wasn't sure if it would, since the Mantis has a QWERTY keyboard. It seems to automatically switch to Braille input when you start a new Braille note. You do not have to press F12 to enter Braille input mode. The live captions are awesome and they will really help deaf-blind people a lot. They are surprisingly accurate from my limited testing.
@technolass I'm living on the edge as well. I installed the beta on my iPhone 16 Pro Max, and so far, no problems. I've found a couple of small bugs, but nothing major. I've already submitted feedback, and I'll continue to do so as I find things.
