My internet provider (Spectrum) won’t provide connection support unless you log on to their website with a computer that is less than 5 years old and has an ethernet port. Apple stopped putting ethernet on laptops 11 years ago or longer. So, no support for Macbook users!

@gruber Ebooks: you are spot on, but I wish you had mentioned standardebooks.org. The books are all public domain, but the ebooks are crafted by meticulous book-loving volunteers who abide by phenomenally strict standards. I am not affiliated with them but I did prepare one book and I know how rigid their rules are.
I wonder if AI will ever be smart enough to mute my television when a commercial comes on.
