Another day, another being very jealous of UX design capable people.

Since I'm "advertising" user-centric apps already, I saw a mention of Wipr few days ago. It's an ad blocker for Safari (macOS/iOS) I replaced AdGuard Pro with (I had intermittent issues with it, but the developer's blog and feature focus is what convinced me).

@kayleesdevlog wrote https://kaylees.site/wipr2-whats-new.html#design and it shows what I mean, I hope.

Will resume normal nerd and non-serious posting until I come across a KISS cross platform markdown editor.

What’s New in Wipr 2

I had no idea #signal had different icons you could choose. They are nice I will always appreciate apps that offer, not mandate features. I was purposefully(!) looking to see if the new backup feature was available.
I have forgot to buy sugar and now I must drink my coffee black. This is a disaster of mild proportions

The default terminal on Fedora 42 GNOME is called `ptyxis`. Ran into this while setting up a shortcut, was unsure if this was the correct place to correct the documentation since it mentions Fedora 37.

Jet Set Radio has officially turned 25 years old!

AI slop classic, somebody files a bug report for a vuln, doesn’t disclose they’ve used AI when asked, argues in the comments - and includes his AI prompt in the paste.

In The Economist:
Hi Fediverse, I am looking for a job for someone fleeing from the USA to germany.
The person is versed in front- and backend developement, focused on vanilla js and angular, but willing to do anything in that area. Learning German atm, understanding German pretty good already.
Area Karlsruhe would be preferred.
Someone got anything?
