Frog Protocols announced to try and speed up Wayland protocol development

One day, Wayland will truly take over the Linux world, but it's not quite there yet with plenty still using X11 due to various problems some of which the new Frog Protocols aim to solve.

@BrodieOnLinux I think they need a dictator so to speak for wayland. At the very least a core group at the top leading it's direction. Or maybe it's time that the Gnome devs get told by the others that they are hindering more than helping. That their DE is not the only DE on Linux & to allow the rest of the devs implement what is needed & Gnome does the Gnome thing on their own.
@BrodieOnLinux I am interested in seeing this and trying it out. I can say that I am not a fan of the desktop being made smaller. For some people, myself included that may make it a little bit harder to work out exactly where things are or to put them. especially on smaller screens. It's not a big issue. I have been called toxic and a hater for saying exactly what I just said. If that's so fine. I'm not either of those things. I'm not saying it is bad or that it shouldn't be the way it is.

I think itโ€™s important to repeat: you don't "have something to hide" when you put blinds on your windows or close the door when you're on the can or wear clothes.

Privacy isn't about having something to hide. It's not about keeping secrets. It's about you being the person who chooses what you reveal about yourself, and when, and to who, and the other word we have for that is "dignity". Your inherent dignity, as a human being.

Your privacy is the agency you have over your dignity.

@BrodieOnLinux Yes just a package on github. But I still should have read properly lol
@BrodieOnLinux EDit Fastfetch has a deb package. I should have read better
@BrodieOnLinux Thanks I'll take a look
@BrodieOnLinux If you find any to recommend that are in most repos I'll try them out. Doesn't have to be in Debian repos. A bit of compiling never hurt anyone. Might be a good video idea. A hoard of Fetch apps to replace Neofetch with
