@catsalad hard to be sure but it appears the foil is not punctured, meaning the claws were carefully retracted, meaning, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, the cat walked with a deliberate care, moreover the presence of the foil indicates the baker anticipated the cat would walk across this area, meaning, the baker and the cat appear to have a prior understanding and agreement about the nature of such walking, thus, I hold, this was a contractually agreed upon easement to allow the cat passage across inconveniently placed pies and both parties (at least implicitly) agreed to the compromise to allow passage without paws directly touching the pie.
