When Threads connects to Mastodon eventually one or more of you folks share how to block it, right?

#Meta #Threads

the ppl surprised threads is a fucking mess must have been in medically induced comas during the whole 'metaverse' fiasco

we need to deprogram folks from automatically assuming Big Corporations know what the fuck they're doing just because they have infinite money to set on fire

Strange women distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
@Silversnapples He's showing his true colours again and somehow they stink of shit
@FloydyStu @Andy_European Let's not forget that Labour is apparently wooing back Brexit voters. This isn't because these voters realise how awful the Tories are but because Labour has decided to back the idiocy of Brexit and has become acceptable to the sort of insular fucks that voted Brexit on the first place. I see nothing good in Labour at the moment, but then I'm further left than they've been as a party for quite some time (Corbyn being the exception)
Woke up feeling fine this morning and then my body remembered that it's a wreck and since then I've had to sit quietly with an additional nap this afternoon. Ugh. Would really like to be well now and not feel like I might pass out from just walking
@jamie Great photos, Jamie. Glad to see some of the protesters as well (I'm not exactly a royalist ๐Ÿ˜Ž). Love your stylistic choices, they really give me a sense of being present ๐Ÿ‘
Throughout much of this time I've been on garden leave while searching for a new job where I'm valued and my mental health is respected and understood. Would not recommend the combination of illness and job interviews. I have now found a new job (phew) and woukd really like to be well enough to enjoy my remaining time off ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ
I've had two pretty awful 'colds' this spring, the first of which took about 3 weeks and a lot of bed rest to go away, the second has morphed into a chest infection for which I've completed a course of antibiotics with no improvement. Nearly 5 weeks after the cough started I'm still unable to do much without wheezing and coughing a lot. I can feel fluid on my lungs and have near constant headaches and severe fatigue.
