Woke up feeling fine this morning and then my body remembered that it's a wreck and since then I've had to sit quietly with an additional nap this afternoon. Ugh. Would really like to be well now and not feel like I might pass out from just walking
Throughout much of this time I've been on garden leave while searching for a new job where I'm valued and my mental health is respected and understood. Would not recommend the combination of illness and job interviews. I have now found a new job (phew) and woukd really like to be well enough to enjoy my remaining time off 😮💨
I've had two pretty awful 'colds' this spring, the first of which took about 3 weeks and a lot of bed rest to go away, the second has morphed into a chest infection for which I've completed a course of antibiotics with no improvement. Nearly 5 weeks after the cough started I'm still unable to do much without wheezing and coughing a lot. I can feel fluid on my lungs and have near constant headaches and severe fatigue.
