Remember when we **didn’t** have a wannabe fascist dictator for a President?
Pepperidge Farm remembers…
All I really want from the #Switch2 is better standards support for the USB-C ports.
- Standard video output (displayport), so that normal adapters work
- 5Gbps (or better) USB data transfer speeds, so I can use Gigabit (or 2.5G) ethernet
- Latest USB-PD for high speed charging
Don't get me wrong... it *should* also have 1080p or better graphics support, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.
Was cleaning out my backpack for a trip, and realized I am still using an analog audio cable (3.5mm to RCA) that I bought on discount from Best Buy when I was working in the Geek Squad 20 years ago. The cable is still rock solid, and working great.
Also found a 3.5mm "aux" cable from around the same time that I haven’t used in years.
Analog audio was so much more simple. Heck, even S/PDIF was great (over RCA/Coax), and super simple.
Definitely makes me miss the headphone jack on my iPhone.
Tried to go to Home Depot to pick up some stuff for the house, and needed a couple of tools... Went to the tools isle, and **every single tool** was behind glass now.
Everything.
Not just the expensive stuff or power tools. Utility knifes, blades, levels, screwdrivers, hammers, you name it.
I turned around and won't be coming back anymore. I don't have time to look around for an associate, and then wait until they find a "tools expert" or whatever. Get your shit together #HomeDepot.
