@segv11 I dont have a Post account so I have no idea. I just wanted to point out that the auth feature does not mean that Twitter can track you on the other service beyond the fact that you are there.
Your email adress is usually transferred over as well, so in case Twitter goes down or boots the Service from using its API (which happens often with Twitter), users can still login the "oldschool" way through email and password.

@jimstewartson Its only half bad. By using the twitter oAuth, Post can extract data from the twitter account to set up a Post account which saves time. Yes, twitter can see how many twitter users (and who) are using Post (when they auth over twitter). And twitter knows the date/time when those users clicked the auth button.
But nothing more. Twitter cannot know what your account is over there. And they cannot know what or when you post.
