@stux they sound like someone who understands how difficult it is to tax a powerful person with almost unlimited resources who can pay experts and workers to execute anything while they themselves sit on the beach un-bothered by any of it.
After 10 or so years of premium I may cancel. Why can't you keep the price low @Spotify you are going to end up like Netflix and cause piracy to return.

Bluesky verified an ICE account and people are upset with blue sky. If ICE came to mastodon they could host their own server. It's completely open and that's what this is meant to be. You could also create an anti ICE server that didn't federate with the ICE server. But the point is you can't stop anyone from creating an account, server, etc. It's FREEDOM, LIKE IT OR LUMP IT.
