I just came over from Facebook because I hear Mastodon does not have the silly algorythms or rules that Facebook has. I am told this is smoother and easier to use and your posts don't get delted because the platform says so. Anybody else have any experience they can share with me?

@RonnieK no algorithms so it's less addictive. It's fun but not too fun. But no friends either. At best you might ask your FB friends if they are on here or anywhere in the fediverse for that matter. Second best you can follow their threads account from here. Third best you can follow random fediverse and blue sky accounts from here as well.

Than read comments und decide to follow the one and the other human being. But im most important: talk to the people and even more: make you comfy and have fun
