Finished my first Cordwainer Smith story—the classic “Scanners Live in Vain.” Though at 73 years old it can’t help but be dated in some ways, I enjoyed it and found Smith’s vision of the future intriguing and mysterious. Looking forward to the rest of the stories. #books #bookstodon #sff
