@juddium okay that sorta makes sense. So boosting helps others from different servers see the post even if they aren’t federated with that particular instance?

Or am I way off? I think I understand, just don’t know if I phrased it correctly.

When searching on #mastadon, does it search all the different instances/servers? Or just the one you’re currently on? The instances/servers is the thing that’s confusing me the most about this new platform for me.

@juddium great advice, thanks! Kinda overwhelming here. Still trying to understand the different servers thing. But I’ve only been on this platform for 30 mins, so you’re definitely right.

Don’t need to get overwhelmed yet, just need to learn more as I go.
