People take what is written on Wikipedia as truth, even if it isn’t. It is nearly impossible to contest a falsehood on there, if the false information is actually published somewhere, especially if it is in print only. I’m literally scared of Wikipedia for this reason. So far, nothing serious about me was wrong, fingers crossed. I’m okay with my old headshot being on there, but I did not intend a crappy selfie I took in the back of a taxi to represent me on the German Wikipedia!

@joshg your smart mathematics will not persuade me to celebrate pi o'clock at another time than 3:14.15! This has been a time of joy on Fridays or Saturdays in the university bars for years. And a time of surprise and dread on days where ordinary boring grown ups are expected to be at work in a few hours for even more years.. 😊

@iris_of_ether just wanted to share my "setup". I've bought one of those #soldering pens, that take a DC barrel plug or a USB-C plug for power. I designed and #3dprinted a ventilation+filtering box with some activated carbon pads, a fan and some LEDs inside. The filtering seems to work, although I can't really quantify it. The trick to not lose the solder is to have a large roll of it! (I know that's not true)

I really hope there will be time to meet the LRRfolk during the day.
