@curtisbridges @siracusa nah. CD R is the printing press of its time. S Tier! I was in high school and have recordings of every Jazz performance, marching band field show, and concert band festival cause CD-Rs. It let small local indie bands promote themselves. I have cases full of CD Rs that still work fine, but drives full of TBs of data I can’t access anymore, but hold onto in hopes data recovery gets cheaper.

@siracusa @caseyliss @marcoarment my reply was that I disliked these tier list, but I did note state it’s because I side with Marco and Casey. I have a few burned CDs that went bad, but it’s not as bad as my 2TB SSD that has vacation and baby photos of my kids that died on me.

@atpfm @siracusa these tier list episodes are starting to trigger emotional distress. I feel like I did when I would listen to political podcasts and in a heighten fight or flight state of mind.

@atpfm I think it may just be jealousy but they tell us how bad pod advertising has been and then buy new pro phones every year and $7k computers every other generation. I’m reading how tech companies that need to work in work in VS Code, Fusion 360, Affinity Designer, + Final Cut Pro work on the M1 Air. Flashback to 2 hosts going with extra RAM to future proof their M1 Pros and aren’t keeping them very far into the future. John is the only one that seems sane to me…

@atpfm Are you sure Apple Watch will delete files for space saving? Every week I know when ATP is released when my Series 4 ask me to delete photos (I have none) and music because I have used all my storage. Btw I’m not complaining about the ep lengths, but it does force me to prioritize new ATP eps so I can have some of my 16GB back. I really want to wait until the Series X. I run with a GPS and only use the watch to listen to podcasts on runs. Not sure if I can hold out.

@zainichia @atpfm @caseyliss @siracusa @marcoarment they didn’t use all these phones as their daily driver like some tech reviewers do. Video game tier rankers all play the games for hours. I used the XR for 3.5 years and felt I was getting all the iOS features I could want in a really durable and premium phone.

@jrduncans @atpfm I loved the XR. I kept it longer than any iPhone I’ve owned (just gave it up last year). Screen was in good condition and it lasted throughout the day and was tempted to keep it longer, but got a really good trade in offer.
