To those who do not know: if you look at the preferences under "Appearance," you will find "Enable advanced web interface." This will provide you with an interface similar to #TweetDeck... you can have multiple timelines viewable at the same time.

To use it, for each timeline you want to keep, click on the settings icon at the top and select "Pin" at the bottom. Any additional interactions will then show in a new timeline.
