I have no idea how many Vision Pros are being returned, but I will say I think people would be surprised how many influencers buy the new Apple thing, make some âcontentâ about it, and return it before their window closes.
Again I donât know, but telling people âI returned my M3 Max MacBook because I donât need to upgrade my computerâ doesnât generate likes/links/etc. like âI returned Appleâs new headsetâ does.
What a night
The AVP is useless in a dark room otherwise; it can't see your gestures so you can't control it if you want to watch something in a dim or dark room.
You can find smaller IR lights that are advertised as being Quest accessories. Just using this because I had it lying around. "quest ir light" will surface lots of options.

I've been using this extra one with the Quest because it really needs help with sensor accuracy. Using a flood like this lets you actually see in the dark in the quest and use it just fine. Literally in complete darkness.
The sensor chip in cameras can inherently see much more of the spectrum than the human eye, handy for night vision cameras etc.
Here's a useful thing to know and try for the Vision Pro that will greatly enhance your hand gesture/pinch accuracy, especially in low light.
Put an infrared light in the room. The one pictured is a floodlight type that I had multiple of because I put some up to enhance night vision on security cameras outside.
