Sometimes computers do what I ask them to. Sometimes.

What if we just didn’t ever init anything, and just left all the computers switched off?

Well, I have now been quoted calling SpaceX "fuckweasels" in a real publication by real journalists: https://au.pcmag.com/ai/116598/spacex-to-start-small-with-1-million-satellite-plan-pushes-back-on-critics

I guess I am proud of myself? (They are, indeed, fuckweasels, for their complete lack of care for the atmosphere that we all depend on, as well as not caring about Kessler Syndrome, or light pollution, or smashing people on the ground...)

Congrats “RHAPSODY, REIMAGINED” by Andrea Hale 🎶 First Place winner of the Internet Archive’s 2026 Public Domain Film Remix Contest 🥇

A dazzling reimagining of King of Jazz (1930) set to Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Treating image as modular rather than linear, Hale builds a kaleidoscope of dancers, musicians, and deco sherbet-colored office scenes!

A fabulously fun, rhythm-driven triumph of archival remix.
