I hail from a place where I live amongst dragons, and where the sun shines bright over a river of grass.

I sometimes use this account to tweet about #anime and #videogames.

New account: @reedlindwurm

(no pronoun preference; use whatever you want)

This looks like a hilarious extension. (Pictures are avaialble in the store links.)

What it does is your choice of the following:
1. replaces thumbnail with a still from the start, middle, or end of the video
2. makes the title all lowercase or only the 1st letter capitalized

The result is a YouTube that looks more like it used to and reveals how much videos consist of literal talking heads.

h/t @josejfernandez for mentioning this in a toot: https://mastodon.social/@josejfernandez/109257862396442982

Who's around to transform #ScienceTwitter 🐦 into #ScienceMastodon? 🐘
Hmm, my last toot doesn't display properly, it seems, but basically, I joined dragonscave.space and have the same name there.
@gewt Gonna be honest, first time I saw the word "nugget" by itself it was in a Pokémon game, and I was confused, because before that I had only ever heard of chicken nuggets. So the "nugget" item I picked up was, to me, basically a chunk of unspecified, unknown solid matter.
I'm now @reedlindwurm !
Odd realization of the moment: every fictional character is someone's OC.
the existence of derivative works implies the existence of integral works

Before I forget, I'd like to say the following:

Thank you to @chr for this well-maintained, well-run, and neatly-stylized instance. It's where I got to take my first steps on Mastodon, and it has consistently been here when I needed it.

I haven't needed it much, but I'm still grateful for all the cool experiences I've had and all the cool people I've met thanks to being here.

Howdy, new arrivals! Important tip: Instead of calling yourself a refugee, consider calling yourself a transplant instead. That will go over better.
