@ariadne declawing is fucking nasty. i think you can argue that people shouldn't have outdoor cats because they can be damaging to local ecosystems but what the fuck reasoning does this "community" have to force you to hurt your cats like that
@sl2c not sure, seems like there are higher priorities, considering we are surrounded by homeless encampments whose inhabitants come in looking for things to steal for scrap money and there has been zero effort to improve security, such as, you know, installing a gate
@sl2c nah we can’t spend $2000 on a gate, to stop people from coming in and stealing things, which is a real thing that is really happening, and most people who live here would like to have a gate installed, but we can try to force everyone to permanently harm their pets because “they might scratch up building fixtures”
