I wonder if it’s still possible to return to the dreams we had at the start, some 25 years ago. Are we still capable of building online spaces where we build community, not disaffection, where we collectively make change happen, not descend into chaos, where we can uplift, not tear down, where we can create opportunities and economic well-being, not concentrate wealth and power.

Here’s hoping for this corner of the Internet to start again.
