@MichelvanBaal Hmmm - slaat plankje mis - helaas, jonge vriend
@markmccaughrean @stim3on Yes, I know Daniel and Ignacio spoke to him and inviting him was an absolutely great gesture which he much appreciated.
@markmccaughrean @stim3on Very nice ; but I am still very much impressed by the demod/decode and guessed debayer by this young French guy ahead of quite some official stuff. All reverse engineering! https://x.com/aang254/status/1825979776420688274?s=46&t=DNv0dA_WWfiVKKMyhoAI3g

Finally, after several attempts at improving it further : Video views of @ESA_JUICE's moon flyby as seen from the two JMC cameras & NAVCAM, all from the data received in Bochum @amsatdl ! This time in color, making it even nicer :-)

@markmccaughrean wouldn’t a smallish satellite dish and some modest equipment solve this problem? 28 east should be simple to receive in Heidelberg.
@markmccaughrean just visit a catholic graveyard, for example Oegstgeest near the roundabout - per crucem ad lucem - through the cross to the light
@bert_hubert @markmccaughrean This gives a good feeling for the complexities involved
@elizabethtasker you did not specify when ?
@bert_hubert @markmccaughrean That’s what I meant. There is a very valid technical reason for this. I am not the expert, but i seem to remember it is related to source cluster associations evolving as more observations are added over time. The person probably best able to explain is Jos de Bruijne on the dreaded ‘X’
@bert_hubert @markmccaughrean yes, the Gaia source id’s are something special ;-)
@markmccaughrean I fully understand what you mean, and share the wish for the best possible scenario for him.
