@tvaziri this is so cool. I would love to read more stuff about the visual effects in Signs! Never knew about the painted out girl in that shot, and I'm only now noticing the rock&roll at the end – l really like this kind of ingenious problem solving: I remember watching the DVD special features but I wished the Effects section was longer than 8 minutes :D

@tvaziri I'm afraid I saw it: someone was trying their best to convince me a transformers CG long take is easy to do because "they have a lot of data from past films" and I sat silently for 25 minutes

@ponysmasher so cool! This is the kind of behind the scenes stuff I 'd kill to see in home video releases nowadays. Thanks for everything you do, David. You inspired me to start learning Blender and to never give up filmmaking. Your anarchic DIY approach is something I truly admire (and something I love to see in other artists like Ian Hubert, another big inspiration for me). When I watch your videos I feel like I felt in the early 00s when all I had was a crappy miniDV camcorder and fake blood.
