Cooking is such a simple thing, but it always makes me feel like a competent apothecary conjuring up the day's supply of potions. Plus, preparing food for yourself and others builds connections and health (and it's just plain fun!), and therefore, in a system that seeks to alienate us from production and each other, is a revolutionary act.
