@DJDarren Definitely relate. I lost 80 pounds 20 years ago and have kept it off, and the main reason why is because I almost completely gave up sugar. I used to give myself "cheat days," but those made it worse. It took about five years (no kidding) for the desire to completely go away. Now I can have, say, one scoop of ice cream a couple of times a year and be satisfied, and it doesn't lead to a multi-day binge. Feels like being let out of jail.
