Ok so I have missed the drama and the details of Automattic v WPE.

I was trying to figure out that they did not block WPE's usage of WordPress, only blocked the access to plugins/themes hosted and distributed by WP.ORG.

In which case, asshole move but within their right? Is the .org under automatic or the foundation?

Well damn, there goes my shirt shop.
Etsy suspended my account for lack of payment on a EUR0.44 bill.
So much for helping a guy move his entire life across the ocean.
My appeal was rejected on "security concerns," which are neither specified nor referred to in the ToS.

This trend of online services believing they don't own their customers anything is absurd.
