Lots of progress this week with exiting US based services: Moved ~1 TB from OneDrive and Dropbox to local NAS > encrypt > sync to IONOS in Frankfurt. Migrated ~150.000 emails from Gmail to mailbox.org. Cancelled both OneDrive and Dropbox subscriptions. Next: Photos.
@Malik Absolut! Ich habe als Business selbst auch Subscriptions. Und die kann man auch innerhalb von PayPal zurückziehen. Quasi wie ein SEPA-Mandat. Ich hab das auch schon gemacht aber PayPal ändert ständig das UI.
PayPal Business Profile: Where do I find my subscriptions (= services I pay automatically, not those of my customers). PayPal has made it impossible for me to find those through the UI. If anybody knows, please tell me. Also a direct link would help (it doesn't contain confidential info).

DHL Abstellerlaubnis erteilt. Weiß jemand, ob die Auslieferer, um ein Paket als "abgestellt" zu melden, dieses scannen müssen? Oder können sie im Handheld-Terminal einfach einen Button klicken?
Installed Apple iCloud for Windows on a new Windows 11 Pro laptop. Sign in works. Then iCloud seems stuck (Drive, Photos). Did the usual uninstall/reinstall dance multiple times. None of it helped. Anyone experienced the same and found a solution?

einige von euch ärgern sich bestimmt auch über das Verhalten von Friedrich Merz bei der Spendengala "Ein Herz für Kinder" und seinem billigen populistischen Versuch, Umfrageergebnisse an seiner Spendenbereitschaft abhängig zu machen.
@pallenberg und ein exzellentes Team Freiwilliger lässt das nicht auf sich beruhen und möchte ein Zeichen setzen, dass man auch ohne politisches Kalkül Großes bewegen kann - die Kampagne @herzstattmerz nimmt gerade Fahrt auf - bitte folgt und helft! :)
