im amazed that TODAY is the first day in my life that ive actually pinged a hostname and seen it resolve to an IPv6 address. just now. it just happened for the first time
i mean, it's taken uhhh how many years has it been since everyone was saying 'the internet is running out'. IPv6 itself is fuckin retro at this point. its older than a lot of the people reading this toot

Nano is the best. Getting the work done is what matters. Don't get religious with the type of text editor you use.
I have been using nano for years now.
Also I recently started using https://micro-editor.github.io
If you are worried of you missing something, do try micro and you'll miss nothing.
It's not available via apt yet, but I am working on getting it into Debian very soon.
Every time I see the question "What is on your mind?" I still get the urge to answer "The underside of the top of my skull".
Abstract literalism. Love it. Try to resist it. It doesn't matter. It's always there. A constant in my life.
Native Linux desktop applications are in decline, with many seemingly opting for 'cross platform' web apps or frameworks.
Electron is - in some cases - a necessary evil, for the most part i have ceased using them (except etcher..)
I would much prefer to see a native CLI, NCurses or QT5 mastodon client than use the website.
Talking of CLI clients I tried Tootstream but found formatting toots a bit of a bind.
