***** MOVED INSTANCES *****

now at @Jase

Leaving makes my avatar sad.

Is there a problem with accessing linuxrocks.online?

Since moving to LinuxRocks, I am unable to see toots by people on mastodon.rocks like @h4ck3r9 the same was true of Linuxrocks folks while on mastodon.rocks

Surely something is amiss here?

I look at my accounts on both and i see different federated timelines, each missing posts by the other.

Do I really have to have different accounts to view the folks I want to follow?

any chance this could be looked at @omnipotens @TheAdmin

@bowner1012

I'm still not able ot see yo on either this instance or as @jase , I can see you on my frendica feed however , but seem unable to receive toots/statuses/updates from there

ok it seems that neither my postActiv instance - @jase or this mastodon instance are receiving notifications from linuxonline.rocks unless that is @hund @bowner1012 @kensp and @MereLinuxMortal have gone silent....

@Jase @ChrisWere @MereLinuxMortal @kensp @hund

Sorry, I meant all statuses/toots received from the @Linuxrocks.online instance show '1d' ago

@hund @kensp @MereLinuxMortal and @ChrisWere

I am trying to troubleshoot if there is an issue with my Pleroma instance, all statuses/toots received are showing a time stamp of "1d" ago.

Can you see my statuses/toots from @Jase ?

Damn, was tweaking my pleroma install and may have hosed it, hope not. Just getting a 502 error ATM

State of google apps on my smartphone...

screenshots combined using:

convert screenie1.png screenie2.png +append screenie3.png

then resized using

convert -resize -50% screenie3.png screenie4.png

The convert command is part of imagemagick which although I did this on my desktop, can be installed using termux on an android phone .

Im currenly working on getting my own mastodon or compatible server up and running using the freedombone project ontop an armbian installation on a repurposed kodibox

Question: when self hosting do you

A: use portforwarding via your router

Or

B: place the box hosting the services into a DMZ and secure the box

Opinions please?

It turns out the next unnecessary account to go after my GMail was my seldom used Amazon account.

After finally figuring out how to get it deleted, I had confirmation from a a nice Amazon Associate that my account is now deleted
