I have recently lost myself in the world of fountain pens.
It is a delightful hobby. And full of people who are gentle and welcoming.
You know, this reminds me of that experiment. The one where you’re forbidden to think of a pink elephant.

Joe Brockmeier (@jzb)We should stop calling them “ad blockers”. If a site serves up a few banner ads as images like the old days, that’s fine. I don’t object to a site paying the bills, or seeing a banner ad.
They’re malware blockers and privacy protections. I don’t want a site popping up bullshit and trying to track me across the net. If that’s what a site is serving, it’s more than an ad, and I absolutely want to block it.
It genuinely distresses me that this countdown handle carries over across social media.

Then, we got handwash liquid, in pumps.
There was a period when soaps and liquid handwash co-existed, for the same purpose (handwash).
In 2020, during the pandemic, a Dettol advertisement showcased how soap effectively repels germs in the hand, using a 'demonstration'.
