A pause in the code #projects - this summer we had a wood burner installed, so I built a wood shed, and have just had the wood delivered in time for winter.
I had some leftover 2x4 from another project which I used for the frame, then made a roof out of ply from some built-in wardrobes I removed last year and leftover felt from redoing the shed. Floor and sides were from pallets I pulled from a neighbour's skip.
It took nearly the full cubic metre delivery, I just hope it keeps it dry enough!
"2 cups of cheese"
Faced with a choice, granted audible deniability, there is only one answer. I'm going to need more cheese.
Thanks, America!
Bah. Realised someone named their project Mara, 2 years after I published to pypi, and has spent 5 years polluting the namespace: https://pypi.org/search/?q=mara
I was planning on releasing mara-* packages, but now it feels like I have to pick a new name to avoid confusion for my users and theirs.
But I like my name. I wrote the first version on my phone on a bus when travelling around Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras, and named it after this mara I saw in Copan.
Hardest problem in coding. Bah.
