@aenesidemusoz One of my favorite horror books is ‘The Girl Next Door’ by Jack Ketchum (he is one of my favorite writers). Absolutely horrific and disturbing novel. It couldn’t and didn’t translate to a visual medium because it would be really hard to put the content of the novel on film.
@Ask_aubry Deuteronomy 22 also says that a woman can be stoned to death if her husband accuses her of not being a virgin at the time of marriage. The husband doesn’t need to provide evidence.
So there’s that.
@Ask_aubry The only virginities that dude has taken is Mary Palm and her 5 sisters. If you count all the fingers on both hands, that’s alot of virginities.
This is an absolute attention grab from a newly elected member of the CA State Assembly. It won’t make it out of committee, nor will it get any traction in the 75% Democratic assembly, but still worth watching.

@stephenfry I nominate Google Maps. When my wife got her new car, we couldn’t figure out how to make it stop screaming at us and use its indoor voice. There wasn’t a setting in the app. You had to wait until it started screaming at you and use the knob on the head unit to turn it down. It had to be the knob and not the volume control on the steering wheel.
I thought it was maybe unique to car play, but I put a bluetooth unit in my super old Civic and had to do the same thing.
