My Yotei through the Hirafu heart

These photos are from when we visited the Fushimi Inari Shrine in January 2023. The main shrine is at the base of the hill a short walk from the train station, but the torii gates extend all the way to the top of the mountain. You can spend hours exploring the trails here and it's beautiful, but be aware the walking trails are not wheelchair accessible. There are many many steps.

We had blue skies yesterday while snowboarding at Niseko. We spent the day riding the Ace Gondola from Grand Hirafu and the views were magic.
