A (newbie) question: What are the possibilities, and problems, of the fediverse evolving into something like an open protocol version of WeChat - a universal social tool that combines messaging, social media, micropayments, and more? Are there any tech reasons why ActivityPub couldn't support these. And what would be the practical dangers (e.g. of federated micropayments)?

@whatiam that's not how this works. Each instance maintains its own servers. Have a read through https://mastodon.help as it explains the federation far better than I ever could

I need a couple of new men's rashies. The choices seem to be "plain black", "plain blue" or "plain black AND blue". From any of the manufacturers.

Surely there's some more colourful and/or patterned options out there? Anyone know any?
