I watch cartoons (owl house, adventure time, harley quinn, etc), play video games (destiny 2, Toontown:CC), and take care of two cats when I'm not working at my union Starbucks (oops, Starbucks fired me). This is my life and I'm deeply content with it.

@arctic This tracks in my eyes completely. You absolutely get to pick and choose what feels right to you and only you are gonna know what does and doesn’t make you dysphoric.

Words centering “man” or “manhood” make me extremely dysphoric but I’m not a woman/girl. Truthfully I’ve gotten comfortable with non-binary man as a term but internally I think demiboy is the correct existing gender to describe myself.

- 7.2% of American adults are LGBTQ. That's 18.9 million adults, or larger than the entire veteran population.
- 11 million Americans are bisexual. That's more people than the entire state of Georgia.
- 3.6 million Americans are gay. That's more than the entire state of Utah.
- 2.6 million Americans are lesbian. That's more people than every single farmer in the country.
- and 1.6 million of us are transgender. That's TWICE as many as there are cops in the entire United States.

When people say "we shouldn't change our entire society just to pander to such a small percentage of it", that's obviously a really dumb argument from just an ethical stance. But it's also a really dishonest one. Because they would never say the same thing about veterans, farmers, cops, or the populations of entire States.

I’ve started describing Mastodon to people as a “Communal Network” instead of a “Social Network” and that, I think, is getting the idea across a lot better. It sets expectations for what the site is like that’re more realistic too. #fediverse #feditips #socialnetwork
This one shot from #Nimona will literally carry me through the next decade.
@arctic Couldn't agree with this more. It's not a perfect device by any means but there's also no denying the tech is impressive, and Valve being the one to do it makes it mainstream enough to really shake-up the console space in a meaningful way. Not to mention as someone who yearns to switch to Linux as my daily driver, incentivising devs to include Linux in their dev pipelines is a big W. It stands for more good for gamers than it does bad but let's not kid ourselves it's the first iteration of portable gaming hardware *from Valve* and I expect to get one once we get future more powerful iterations.

Love it when executive dysfunction keeps me from taking the medication designed to alleviate the executive dysfunction
Today is the day I finally watch the gay cartoon ( #nimona )
I am going to be completely honest. I know I am preaching to the choir here but why the hell does anyone still use Chrome? There are so many other better Chromium options even if you don't like Firefox.
