Longtime IT worker. Been a furry since 2001. Space otter thing online.

It's crayon and might not come through well on the cell phone scan but I was inspired to draw this.

Might redo in digital.

In any case solid etiquette for gay bars.

Tamales!
Made a casserole with leftover turkey, shell pasta, Velveeta, breadcrumbs, and some bonus kielbasa. Quite tasty. I may do this every future time I roast a turkey.
I find myself wondering how far contract law is going to stretch when it comes to non-negotiable contracts where clicking a button to signify acceptance is very likely to not have meaningful consent.
I often wear suspenders, and was shopping online for some new suspenders as my existing ones have worn out.
Hoping to find durable suspenders at a reasonable price I went to Carhartt's website. Where I was greeted with the usual annoying cookies prompt.. combined with a terms and conditions / privacy policy agreement.
Being the legally curious and somewhat literate sort I went to read the T&C before agreeing.
It was impossible to do so because the T&C acceptance modal appeared over the T&C document (and all other pages pages there). It blocked expansion of the various T&C sections. Meaning, from a strict and favorable to Carhartt standpoint (the sort their lawyers are likely to take) one must agree to the contract in order to read the contract. The T&C includes a binding arbitration agreement.
Not shopping there.
When you impulse buy something pretty much because there is a cartoon animal on the product. In my defense I also wanted caffeine.

Made pork chops for dinner. Shake-and-Bake breading but I pan fried them in bacon fat instead of baked.

They are really good.

What a queer sandwich.
Last full day of a vacation to Lake Rosevelt. Found some wild apples that were surprisingly palatable, even sweet to my taste. I think these apples are roma or very similar apples based on shape, color, smell, and flavor. (My family had a tree of roma apples when I was a kid). Picked a few, cut them up, and tried to make a cobbler using very limited supply (topping was just butter, flour, salt, baking powder). It came out OK but not great. I should have sauced them instead, as I remembered I forgot to bring syrup for pancakes tomorrow.
Had a lot of type 2 fun the past day and a half playing large appliance repair technician.
These machines came with the house I bought.
Dryer was badly clogged with lint and random items, like a sock. The lint was adhering to the various lint filtering assemblies and exhaust components. Disassembled and washed.
Washing machine was non functional but only because the control lockout toggle button was stuck. Disassembled, discovered various dirty and rusted parts. Cleaned. Used phosphoric acid jelly and steel wool to remove rust. Sealed those areas with a faux enamel epoxy. Got the button un-stuck.
Reassembled everything and got good test cycles.
Washing some clothes for the first time in my house. It's a good feeling.
